• Hypotension: Ventavis can lower blood pressure; caution is advised in patients with low baseline blood pressure or when combined with other blood pressure-lowering agents.
• Bronchospasm: May occur, particularly in patients with reactive airway disease.

What documents are required to import Ventavis to India?

Ventavis (iloprost) inhalation solution may be imported in the patient's name only, by patients or government hospitals, in line with India's import regulations for unapproved medicines. The following documentation is required:

• A valid prescription from a qualified pulmonologist or cardiologist
• The patient's diagnostic reports confirming pulmonary arterial hypertension (WHO Group 1)
• Patient ID proof (issued by the Government of India)

How is the order confirmed?

Is Ventavis available in India?

Ventavis (iloprost inhalation solution) is a prescription medicine that legally requires a doctor's prescription to be dispensed. As of current publicly available information, Ventavis is not commercially marketed in India.
